Wordless Wednesday: Misha is California Cold

Wordless Wednesday: Misha is California Cold

Share

It was 44 degrees this morning.  Compared to other parts of the country that’s Spring.  But, for us living in the San Francisco Bay Area, it’s cold.  It’s what we call “California cold” and yes, we are weather wimps. My dog is no different.  Truth be told, she is less tolerant of the cold than I am.  She burrows deep within her blankets whenever the temperature gets below 70. This was the look I got today when I asked her…

Wordless Wednesday: Misha Needs Her Neck Massaged

Wordless Wednesday: Misha Needs Her Neck Massaged

Sometimes it is difficult to get things done with a Jack Russell Terrier around.  I was minding my own business trying to read an e-book when this dog pops into my view. Dreaded Jacket Season

Dreaded Jacket Season

Share

The last couple of days our normally springlike autumn has turned chilly and windy.  We had wind gust up around 40-50 mph on Monday.  It means this is the time of year that Misha hates the most:  Jacket Season. Getting squeezed out of my own bed

Getting squeezed out of my own bed

Having Summit stay over means sharing a bed with her.  She never sleeps on the bed at home, but she simply refuses to relax if I make her lay on the floor even with her own bed.  She tends to be restless because of her seizure medication, so if she’s calm, I’ll put up with it. In the last year, Misha graduated from her cage to the “outside world”.  Normally she sleeps in her tent bed, but sometimes she sleeps…

She’s Baaack!

She’s Baaack!

Summit has come over for another sleepover.  She’s feeling much better since she kicked a persistent e.coli infection.  For the first time in many visits, she ate her dinner–all of it–without a fuss the first day. I took the above photo about a year ago when the two were together.  As you can see, Summit outweighs Misha by a good 55 lbs!  They do get along great even if they do spent most of the time staying out of each…
