My Dog is All Ears for Food

My Dog is All Ears for Food

Let it be known that my dog doesn’t always hear her name even when she is in the same room as the caller.  But, she can hear the pantry door open while buried under her blankets on the other side of the house. She can hear a food wrapper being opened in the garage. She can hear peas dropping on the floor. I call it selective hearing. She hears it if it has to do with food. —————–

Warm Doggy Blankets

I’ve mentioned before how curious my Jack Russell is. She was already mad at me because I washed her blankets.  The minute I them on the couch she just couldn’t resist.  She had to jump up to check them out. It wasn’t long before had her head buried underneath. I left the room to put one away.  When I came back someone had made herself quite comfortable on top of the pile. As you know,Misha is an incredible curious dog. She just can’t help but get herself in the middle of everything. That makes wrapping presents a challenge. Santa’s Helper in the House! Let’s take a trip down memory lane… My Dog at 8 Weeks Old This was the day Misha…

We are just wrapping up Fogust.  That’s foggy + August.  It’s the month that makes us think that summer is over.  Then, wham! We get hit with September.  True to course, we’re heading into a heat wave this week. Even Misha feels it.  When I got out of the shower, I found her laying on my pillow surfer style.   It’s too warm to get under the blankets today. She looks like she has the weight of the world on…

Misha Has a Sick Day

Misha Has a Sick Day

Normally, I chose something silly for the BlogPaws BlogHop, but today has not been a good day.  Misha wasn’t feeling well.  It’s no fun when your dog is sick! Misha started out the day just fine.  Then, at 10:30 she threw up.  She seemed fine afterwards.   She was running around like normal.  No problem. But, in the afternoon she got antsy.  She went to bed, she got up, she sat down, she got up again.  Eventually, she settled on this…
