Misha Should Not Be Up On Top Of The Couch!

Misha Should Not Be Up On Top Of The Couch!

My dog has been driving us nuts!  She isn’t allowed on the couch except when accompanied by a human…and then, only on their lap.  She’s been good about the rules.  Until now. She’s gotten insistent on climbing up on the back of one of the couches to the point of defiance.  It wouldn’t be a big deal except the glass dinner table is behind it.  I’m afraid she may jump off the couch not realizing the table is right there….

Signs of Spring on Our Daily Dog Walk

Signs of Spring on Our Daily Dog Walk

Share

This has been an usual winter.  It’s not like we have harsh winters where we live, but we should get a lot of rain especially in February.  And, we haven’t.  Most of February has been sunny.  Not just sunny, but springlike.  I’m talking 70s here.  Great weather for taking my dog for a walk.  Misha just loves it! Before the frost and wind brought our temperatures back to normal this weekend, I got some lovely photos from my daily dog…

I Lost My Dog in the Laundry

I Lost My Dog in the Laundry

Rainy Days and Mondays Always Get My Dog Down

We were so lucky.  December was almost completely dry. It was practically springlike. I got to walk Misha almost every day. Then January came along and the storm door opened.  Mind you, we don’t have to deal with the snow like the rest of the country.  But, we’ve already had more rain and fog than in December, and we’re only half way through January.  Another series of storms is approaching for the rest of the week. As you know Misha…

My Dog Meets Frosty The Snowman

My Dog Meets Frosty The Snowman

During the holiday season, you’re bound to meet some different characters hanging about including friendly snowmen. This week, Misha got to meet Frosty, the snowman.  He stopped by for a visit, then he never left. I’m not sure what she thought of the encounter.  She looks pretty suspicious. Well, he never did say “Happy Birthday!” I guess it’s time to go look for crumbs.

Are All Jack Russells This Curious?

Are All Jack Russells This Curious?

I hate to compare dogs.  Each is special and unique in their own way.  But, I’ve owned a Cocker Spaniel Poodle, a Collie, a Lab/Golden Retriever Mix, and now a Jack Russell Terrier.  No dog was as curious as Misha. Are Jack Russell Terriers the Most Curious Dog Breed? Maybe “most curious” is an exaggeration.  How about one of the most curious?  Is this something specific to Jack Russell Terriers?  Maybe terriers have a curiosity streak because of their breeding…
