Today, I cleaned her water bowl. It is a metal bowl. When it’s sparkly clean it throws reflections. This disturbs Misha quite a lot.

She doesn’t like the reflections at all. She approached the bowl slowly, then jumped back. You can never be too sure of those reflections. After a couple attempts, she eventually drank water.

This is an improvement. When she was younger, she would be completely spooked by a clean water bowl. So much so that she wouldn’t drink for several hours. It was hilarious watching her make wide turns around the bowl, approach it, and then run away. I guess she thought something might jump out at her.

Misha has to be one of the quirkiest dogs I’ve ever known.
