Let it be known that my dog doesn’t always hear her name even when she is in the same room as the caller. But, she can hear the pantry door open while buried under her blankets on the other side of the house.
She can hear a food wrapper being opened in the garage.
She can hear peas dropping on the floor.

I call it selective hearing. She hears it if it has to do with food.

Our ears are specially tuned for the important stuff.
Misha’s ears work like sonar. Nothing escapes them.
Pink looks good on you!
Ruckus the Eskie
Thank you very much! It’s my favorite blanket.
Misha reminds me of my cat Bianca. She knew that I’d be opening a can of tuna when I would open the pantry, but before I even touched the can. How do they know?
Irene, It’s funny how they know! Misha even knows when I get something that she can’t have. She won’t even bother getting up.
Hawk has radar ears too! BOL!
Those ears were meant for something and it was listening for food!
