This is the last catch up post.  I wrote about how Misha made it through her first days at home alone in a long time.  Then, I told you about her health issues.

While I was dealing with her stomach issues, she had even more problems.  She was bitten by some insect in our lawn one morning just before our walk.  She refused to walk to the house.  I had to carry her.  She has had problems like this before and usually a half hour later she is fine.  I attribute those to these pokey blades of grass we have in our lawn. (I’ve been nailed by them.  They hurt.)

Within a half hour, it was clear, she was swelling up.  Luckily, my sister had just been to the store and bought some Benadryl.  I only need like, one quarter of a tablet.  Misha got her treatment, she got loopey (Benadryl does that to her), and about an hour later, the swelling started to recede.  I usually keep this on hand, but for some reason, I couldn’t find the box.

It wasn’t bad enough that we were trying to get over her stomach problems that she then had an allergic reaction.  This has been one crazy summer!
