My Mom decided to make soup yesterday. This means Misha was hovering under foot trying to get anything that fell off the cutting board. She was successful once when a piece of carrot jumped through the air right in front of her.

I had to get a couple of things done around the house and I needed to keep Misha from getting in my Mom’s way. The only way to do that is to crate her or tether her to an object…a sturdy object that she can’t drag. You’d be surprised how strong a 9 lb. Jack Russell Terrier is! I hooked her to the dining room table with just enough leash that she could see what my Mom was doing.

When I came back into the room, I found her in the middle of the chairs looking like a prisoner.  If you look closely you can see her standing up behind the bars.

I’d caption this “Help! I’ve been captured!” LOL

She eventually worked her way free, but only would stare under the chairs. I think she found a stash of crumbs or dust under the table and didn’t want to give it up.
