Misha is a constant source of entertainment, I’ll give her that.  The other day I got up from the couch after having a snack.  Misha was at my feet as always because you never know when crumbs will fall from the sky.

As I stepped away, she jumped back a good foot or two.  I looked at her quizzically and laughed.

The next day it was the same thing.  The second I stepped away she jumped back.  What the heck was going on in her head?

Then, it dawned on me.  A week or so before, she was under my feet searching for crumbs.  I stepped away.  The pillow fell off the couch and hit Misha in the head.  She let out a yelp.  She wasn’t hurt, but she is quite dramatic when assaulted by falling objects.

She remembered the pillow falling on top of her!  And, she wasn’t about to let it happen again.

So, every afternoon, I eat my snack.  I get up to put the wrapper in the recycle pile to take out later.  As I step away, Misha jumps back at least once, sometimes twice (you can never trust pillows).

Is this going to be like the fly swatter or the aluminum foil?  I suspect it is.  Misha never forgets.

    1. Evan, it is comforting to know that I’m not the only one with the screwy dog. LOL Sam and Misha could compare notes on what scares them.
