My Dog is All Ears for Food

My Dog is All Ears for Food

Let it be known that my dog doesn’t always hear her name even when she is in the same room as the caller.  But, she can hear the pantry door open while buried under her blankets on the other side of the house. She can hear a food wrapper being opened in the garage. She can hear peas dropping on the floor. I call it selective hearing. She hears it if it has to do with food. —————–

Help Me Find My Lost Dog Treat

Help Me Find My Lost Dog Treat

Share

My dog can be a tad obsessive about food.  She loves to play with her treat balls and she checks them repeatedly during the day just in case something falls into them.  You just never know! Where, Oh Where Did That Little Dog Go? The other day Misha went missing.  This either means she got locked behind the doggie gate on my mom’s bedroom or she’s hiding under the bed because something terrified her. As I passed by the spare…

What It is Like Wrapping Presents with My Dog

As you know,Misha is an incredible curious dog. She just can’t help but get herself in the middle of everything. That makes wrapping presents a challenge. Santa’s Helper in the House! The first thing she did was start licking her paw.  I had to take measures to keep her distracted.   I bought her first Kong toy not too long ago.  They make a small size perfect for an 8…

Misha Spent the Weekend in the Hood of Shame

Misha Spent the Weekend in the Hood of Shame

Share

Oh, what a weekend we have had!  My dog came down with a minor injury.  She insisted on bugging it, so I had to put her in the hood of shame. Limping Around The House It all started Thursday afternoon.  I took her for her walk and didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary. In the afternoon, she developed a slight limp.  No biggee.  She’d limp a little when she jumped off the couch or getting up after a nap….

It’s National Vet Tech Week

It’s National Vet Tech Week

Share

Did you know that the third week in October is National Vet Tech Week?  I can’t give enough praise for the veterinary techs at our veterinarian office.  They go above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to dealing with my dog. Misha’s No Good, Very Bad Emergency Veterinary Hospital Visit Although I did everything right with Misha during her first year as far as veterinarian visits are concerned, things went bad one very long night. My dad…
