Kong Dog Toy: Just Reward for Wearing the Hood of Shame

Kong Dog Toy: Just Reward for Wearing the Hood of Shame

Share

If you read my post earlier this week, you know that Misha had to wear the hood of shame for a couple of days.  She injured her paw, well, just the toe on her paw.   It’s all better now and she’s free…FREE! The first thing she did was start licking her paw.  I had to take measures to keep her distracted.   I bought her first Kong toy not too long ago.  They make a small size perfect for an 8…

Misha Spent the Weekend in the Hood of Shame

Misha Spent the Weekend in the Hood of Shame

Oh, what a weekend we have had!  My dog came down with a minor injury.  She insisted on bugging it, so I had to put her in the hood of shame. Limping Around The House It all started Thursday afternoon.  I took her for her walk and didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary. It’s National Vet Tech Week

Misha Worries about Pets Lost in Hurricane Harvey

We are just wrapping up Fogust.  That’s foggy + August.  It’s the month that makes us think that summer is over.  Then, wham! We get hit with September.  True to course, we’re heading into a heat wave this week. Even Misha feels it.  When I got out of the shower, I found her laying on my pillow surfer style.   It’s too warm to get under the blankets today. She looks like she has the weight of the world on…

It’s National Dog Day: Celebrating Our Family Dogs

It’s National Dog Day: Celebrating Our Family Dogs

Share

It seems I have always had dogs in my life.  We got our first dog when I was about 3 and I have been in love with them ever since.  I’d like to tell you about the dogs in my family for National Dog Day. Our First Dog was Bubbles Bubbles was an accident. A friend’s Poodle mated with the neighbor’s Cocker Spaniel and we got one of the puppies from the litter. She looked more Cocker Spaniel than Poodle. …
