I’m not sure people realize how traumatizing fireworks are for dogs.  To a dog, those loud booms and whistles sound as if the walls are coming down around them.  Their instinct is to flee and many of them do. Fireworks terrify my dog.   My neighbors have been setting them off for a week.  I’ve been finding my dog under the bed, the desk, the dresser, behind the TV stand…anywhere she can cram her small body.
