Misha came into my life in July 2009.  She was a gift from my nieces after my dog, Sierra, passed away suddenly.

Misha barely weighed 2 lbs. that first day. You could hold her in one hand easily.  She wore a cat collar because all the dog collars were too big.

She is a Jack Russell Terrier.  Her most distinguishing features are her spots and her ears that point northward and are larger than her head.

She has some of the Jack Russell characteristics with a few of her own thrown in.  She went through a tough time after my dad died and when we moved.  But, with some intensive training, she has turned into a quirky, delightful 7 lb. wonder.

Here she is in one of her favorite poses.  Like Linus from Peanuts she prefers to be with her blanket.

Her blanket is just one of her quirks
