My Little Dog is No Longer Obsessed with Eating Tan Bark

My Little Dog is No Longer Obsessed with Eating Tan Bark

These three photos may not look like much.  A dog walking in the back yard.  But, do you notice anything?  My dog is “unleashed”. No big deal, right?  Not for a regular dog.  But, for Misha…well, this is a sign that she is finally growing up and finally gotten over one of her worst behavior problems. You see, Misha was just a little over 1 year old when our lives got stressful.  She transitioned from puppy to one year old…

Giraffe Ears are Tasty on This Dog Toy

Giraffe Ears are Tasty on This Dog Toy

Grandma bought Misha a new dog toy.  It’s a giraffe that is about the same size as her.  It was cute to watch her pick it up by a leg and drag it over to the living room. Hey mom!  I’m feeling loopy! Even though the sedative was setting in it still took a while for her to settle down.  She had trouble finding her safe place. I keep this spot under my computer desk set up especially for her.  Her…

Fireworks Can Be Scary: Steps to Take to Keep My Dog Safe

Independence Day…It’s the day we celebrate our nation’s independence.  It’s a day for parties, picnics, and panic…if you’re a dog.  While we enjoy oohing and aahing at the beautiful fireworks, the loud noises are very scary to many dogs (and cats too!) Misha is terrified of them, especially the ones that make a loud booming sound.   The other night someone set one off.  The sound and vibration were so forceful I jumped from my chair, car alarms went off all…
